Director of Communications

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of External and Internal Communications to join our team. As the Director of External and Internal Communications, you will be responsible for leading and executing Mondee’s communication strategy. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with a deep understanding of both internal and external communication channels.

• Develop and execute the company’s external and internal communication strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, including journalists, bloggers, and influencers, to promote the company’s brand and build positive awareness.
• Write, edit, and proofread press releases, presentations, talking points, and other communication materials for both internal and external audiences.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product launches, company announcements, and other initiatives that require external communication.
• Develop and execute internal communication strategies that engage and inform employees, align them with company objectives, and foster a positive company culture.
• Manage crisis communication plans and responses, ensuring timely and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage and communication metrics to continuously optimize and improve communication strategies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related field, with a strong track record of managing both internal and external communication strategies.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team of communication professionals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver clear and concise messaging for both internal and external audiences.
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with media contacts and other external stakeholders.
• Experience in crisis communication management, with the ability to manage and respond to communication issues effectively.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform communication strategies and tactics.
• Knowledge of current communication trends and best practices, as well as experience in digital communication channels.
• Previous experience with  the travel sector is a plus.
